What is RP Leads?

RP Leads is a career accelerator initiative started by Richmond Promise that seeks to bridge the critical gaps that exist for students transitioning from postsecondary education into the workforce.

What Will RP Leads Do?

RP Leads will provide comprehensive, intentional programming that will allow RP Scholars to begin translating their education into a meaningful career path while creating a pipeline of talented early career professionals that can contribute to the workforce in Richmond, the San Francisco Bay Area, and beyond.

Why Now?

As more RP Scholars begin their professional lives, they have shared with us that information about career pathways is not always readily available. RP Leads will support the growing number of RP Scholars preparing to enter the workforce.

How Will It Work?

Each school year, RP Scholars will have the opportunity to apply to join an RP Leads cohort. While the inaugural cohort will begin with a maximum capacity of 10 Scholars, we plan to expand the program and include more Scholars as it develops further. The program will support RP Leads members from their sophomore year through to graduation and beyond.
