Additionally, growing up in Richmond and meeting many diverse individuals has encouraged me to give back to my community.

Q: How has Richmond Promise played a role in your education?

A: Thanks to the Richmond Promise scholarship, I am able to pursue higher education without feeling weighed down by the financial burden. This scholarship has allowed me to devote more time to my studies and career building.

Q: Why did you choose to be a Richmond Promise Summer Associate and what are you hoping to take from the experience?

A: I decided to become a Richmond Promise Summer Associate with the goal of giving back to my community while gaining valuable skills. Through this experience, I hope to assist others and make a positive impact in my community.

Q: What do you want to contribute to Richmond and/or the world?

A: As a resident of Richmond, I have witnessed both the positive and negative aspects of life. Q: Can you tell us about your current college experience?

A: During my freshman year, I attended Diablo Valley College and I will be transferring to USC as a sophomore.
