On Friday, April 18, Richmond Promise will team up with East Brother Beer Company to take part in the Richmond-based brewery’s second-annual Pride + Purpose Day series celebrating the Richmond community.

As part of the collaboration, 10% of all proceeds from the taproom will be donated directly to Richmond Promise. The taproom will be open from 3 to 9 p.m. and RP staff will be on hand from 5 to 7 p.m. to share information about the work the organization is doing on behalf of Richmond Promise Scholars.

Started by East Brother as a way to celebrate the Richmond community, Pride + Purpose Day is described by the brewery as a “day dedicated to community, craft beer, and creating pathways to higher education for Richmond youth.” Richmond Promise participated in the event in 2024 and is excited to partner with the brewery once again.
