Businesses of Promise

Local business leaders are the backbone of our economy. Richmond Promise scholars are the backbone of Richmond’s future. One of the core goals of the Richmond Promise is to prepare our students to thrive in the 21st century workforce and begin their careers in Richmond. Many of our scholars and their parents are patrons and employees of local businesses. Our scholars have the desire to come back and give back to the Richmond community.

We look to partner with passionate, driven business leaders who are interested in investing in the future of Richmond to join our group of Business Leaders of Promise, which will involve:

• A pledged gift of general support
• Providing volunteer, internship, or job opportunities for our scholars
• Engaging in community outreach by sharing the story of Richmond Promise

All Business Leaders of the Promise will be featured in our public materials and on our website, and will receive a plaque to hang in their businesses.
