Give the gift of college today. Your donations are critical to helping us keep our Promise for generations to come. Your donation goes directly toward our college scholarships and success supports.
One of the things that has become clear through our COVID relief work is that one in three Richmond Promise Scholars goes to college without a computer. While we have filled over 100 requests for current Scholars through our relief fund, the need extends beyond that, especially with over 500 new Scholars beginning college this fall.
We know that going to college without a computer makes getting your degree nearly impossible – especially now.
Join our giving community and help us reach our goal of 500 computers by purchasing a computer for a Scholar. Your gift of $300 will provide a personal device for one of our Scholars and make a direct impact on their ability to continue or begin college this fall.
Richmond promise helped me out financially and made a big impact. Some people might think $1000 or $1500 is not a lot but for me it meant if I was getting my books for that semester and being able to pay for rent if I was short on money. I don’t know how I would of afford paying for my books if it wasn’t for Richmond Promise.

Create a Named Scholarship
The Richmond Promise offers a named scholarship opportunity for companies and members of the community to fund one full scholarship and student support. This opportunity is a $10,000 commitment over 4 years and will directly benefit one Richmond Promise scholar. The donor’s name will be used in all public mention of the scholarship. Matching Gifts & Workplace Giving
Does your company have a workplace giving campaign that allows you to select Richmond Promise for a one-time gift or payroll deduction? This allows you to spread out payroll deductions over the year – a convenient and impactful way to give! Many companies will match your gift to Richmond Promise.
